Looks like got a beelink BT7 that should be arriving to me this weekend. Has the same specs Z8700 2.4GHz 4GB/64GB Intel HD graphics. Will be testing settings on my library of PC games have collected in anticipation for the GPD WIN. Will post videos and see what it can handle. Let me know if any requests on what I should throw at it. :D

I'd be interested to see it try The Witcher 3, GTA V etc. High end games that'd really push it to the limit, but played at 720x480 since I think that's how I'll play a lot of things on the Win.

CPU limited so you can lower the resolution all you want it won't do much.

The teclast (similar specs but I think it has a 8500 instead of 8750) running GTA V just to get an idea.

Considering that the fan if it prevents throtling will mean the cpu and gpu clock speeds are twice as high, this might mean it's playable. I will eat a whole pack of bacon if it is too, can not really believe it...

He didn't try using the touch screen at all. Tbh the joystick mouse seems clumsy and his typing speed doesn't fill me with confidence.

Looks nice, hope to see some more video's soon.
I notice speakers look the same from the outside so will be interested to see if we have stereo or not in the end.

Slightly off topic - does anyone know a good lightweight program I can use to test FPS etc on X98 tablet?
Looking to test some games to see what I might be able run on the Win.

FRAPS and Riva (comes with MSI afterburner)
Both should be pretty lightweight. (they don't have an average FPS, Low FPS, high FPS recording option though)

I'm quite sure this is a fanless Z8700. Just today they released pics of the prototype with the fan, and the openings are different.

That unboxing video looks pretty nice.
Glad to see things are progressing, even with them messing with things.

Don't think will be able to test this....since the specs of the model Beelink I got was the exact same specs it comes down to just there's not enough disk space to install. I'd hate to think how lengthy an install would be to an SD card to try and play this. These days to install GTA you need up to 65GB of free disk space on PC. Since the GPDWIN as well as the base model Beelink only have 64GB and with Windows its less means just wouldn't have enough space. One more reason 128GB would have been better. I am skeptical how well other games will run off an SD card.

AFAIK microsd random read/write speeds are higher then HDD (correct me if I am wrong) so my guess would be, brilliantly. Especially since I have psx isos and psp isos on my micro sd in my XD , and there is no stutter at all (and a shitload of random I/O by the EPSXE to the "cdrom drive" )

^  Supposedly it's running natively on the Z8700 fanless GPD WIN prototype.  Default settings and 720p

On a different note, here is Street Fighter X Tekken
Note: You can rotate the video using the rotation button next to the volume control on Youku

As I mentioned the other day, the SOC has now been confirmed to be the Z8750 for the GPD WIN.
Here is the official announcement made in the last update on the Chinese crowdfunding site for the GPD WIN:

"Players, Hello, everyone, this update on the processor message has been determined that the processor changed Atomx7-8750. Thank you for your support."
