Outside of GPD giving us news, it's still unclear if we are going to get the *mobile* parts of Intel silicon at 10nm. Still waiting on concrete info, but still looks to be the case.
As for someone asking for Thunderbolt, Intel now gives royalty free licensing for Thunderbolt, so it's not out of the question for it to happen on GPDwin 2. But really, if they did Thunderbolt, we'd want all the bells and whistles like PCIe 4x connected thunderbolt. It would be neat as we could connect an eGPU in a docked mode (sort of have the ultimate PC Switch scenario) but I seriously doubt any of this is going to happen.
I'll just continue to wait for news from GPD or Intel at this point.
