drivers for GPD Win
« on: October 29, 2016, 06:15:37 pm »
Well I kinda shot my system trying to upgrade to 1607 and now I had to reformat.
I'm looking for drivers: SOC, touchscreen, wifi, etc..
GPD doesn't seem to provide drivers. nothing, none.

I also can't really find any Cherrytrail SOC drivers on the intel page and have to use others..
I found.. Asus T100HA SOC drivers from february 2016, think they will do?
http://www.asus.com/2-in-1-PCs/ASUS_Transformer_Book_T100HA/HelpDesk_Download/

any other suggestions, links for drivers?

Thanks.

Gpd provide drivers.

You can use jdownloader to Download from pan baidu.
Also, there are apps like double driver to get a backup before formatting.

Yeah, generally for intel drivers, using intel update utility it should find updates. At least in my cherrytrail tvbox they work.

Just Ordered mine from Amazon last Night. Thinking of not connecting to the Internet to keep everything Stable and only connecting when needed. Does it Require Internet when First Running for DLing Updates??

So here's my question: could someone pleasy guide me to the exactly driver file for the graphiccard?

Thank you.

You just have to install the Intel Driver Update Utility to update the graphics driver.

You can download it here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

Thank you for your answer, alien...but I think bought a fuckedup version of gpd win.

on your link, it says.. one update available.. the graphic driver.. but in the second i press the button, it says.. download failed, and when I try to manualy download the driver..it fails at installation.

so it drives me nuts..

my problem is... on each old game, like, M&M VI, there is a fat white stripe on the right side, so you cant read or see the things there...

maybe someone has a solutioan..thank you

You can try uninstalling the driver with DDU in Windows secure mode. It's going to remove the driver and also remove everyhting in Windows 10 so it doesn't install the driver downloaded from Windows update. It's possible that you've got to install the sound driver again after using DDU but it doesn't seem to happen every time I'm using it.

You can download DDU from here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

After running DDU in Windows secure mode it's going to use the Windows 10 default driver and it should be possible to download and install the Intel HD graphics driver with the Intel driver update tool.
