charge before first use?

OMG IT"S HEREEEEEEE!!!! AND IT LOOKS SO BEAUTIFULL AND FEELS SO PERFECT!

It's ergonomic! The ABXY buttons are not mushy! L2 and R2 are in a better position!

SUGOI DESU!!!!!!!!

But... I still have to see if it actually works.

Can I just turn it on now, or is it better to charge battery first to prevent calibration issues?

I charged mine til the led when off.

I plugged mine in until the light went off, and then started using it.

Mines arrived as well, I plugged it in and it already said it was at 100%.

I love the look and feel of it.  Just just copying over some steam games to my memory card so I can test it.

Not done any updates or tinkering with it yet, other than popping in my windows key, as I want to see if it works before I tinker.

For info, mine is from www.micomputer.eu (Spain).

Just played the first 15 minutes of dead space, medium detail level, up to the first save point.  Played like a dream, really impressed so far. I'm gonna like this little device.

I am seeing a trend here, mine is also from @Web8bits and so fasr it looks like with both got JPD-jackpots.

I LOVE this thing!

I still have to test it more extensive offcourse but I *THINK* mine is fine (first impression *KNOCK ON WOOD*)

I am curious what the battery life will be.
