Hello everyone! So my WIn should arrive next weekend, and I wondered, what is (for the 8700) the best driver to use for graphics to have least possible crashes?
Also maybe we can use this as a thread to keep note of which games work under which display driver, if that changes per version. The first games I am gonna play (busy for few weeks probably) are going to be killer is dead and nekopara, after that probably devil may cry 4 and/or or split/second velocity.
If some games run on one driver version but not on another, I will note it here, and it might be handy if other people do the seem, so we know which driver to install for a particular game :)

I have no idea, but I installed the latest stable driver for the HD 520 which works just fine.
I actually wanted to add custom resolutions like 1024x576 or 800x450..
When I try doing that in the Intel HD control panel it keeps telling me that I exceed the maximum bandwidth.
I tried 800x450 at 60Hz also 1024x576 at 60Hz. No luck. Any ideas?

Thanks for the tip! I will install it when I get it... can't wait till next weekend! :O
I am sorry, I would love to help, but I have never used a kawaii potato computer before so I have 0 experience with intel HD graphics... my GTX660 is about 6 times bigger then the entire WIN :-/
But, why such a resolution? what are your evil plans ? :3

well I got GTA 4 to run at 30fps but at 800x600.
most games run better at a lower resolution but I need lower resolutions that are 16:9
Resident Evil 5 runs at 30-40fps. With random driver crashes.. I have no idea why.
edit: actually I'm having driver crashes almost anywhere now.
even with the old driver that came with the gpd win.
