More No?s then Yes?s.
That?s a sign GPD should really worry about especially since it?s a site dedicated to these kind of devices.

This literally means nothing. Less than 80 votes total. Remember, the Win 1 sold about 720,000 dollars worth on IGG, which at 330 a pop comes to around 2,200 units sold. Even selling just half the units this time comes to the same cash price since the unit is 2x cost.
Maybe to you but I does show that people think its way too expensive, maybe too you its worth it but to a lot of people its too much.
If you think a site dedicated to these kind of devices think its too expensive what will more casual user think?
The people have spoken!
GPD should listen.

And that's where this dedicated site comes in. There's a device for everybody at the price that's affordable to them. If Win2 is expensive, there's still the Win1.

Again, we're a very very small very vocal minority. This is the same thing that was said when the 1 was coming out and everyone cried about how it'll never sell with that terrible keyboard! I remember from the first IGG the backlash over the L3/R3 placement, and all sorts of other complaints about fans, and what Atom chip was used, how much RAM, the price of the device, etc.

Guess what, the device was made- and it was a success despite the naysayers.

Some people are choosing not to buy one because the Win 1 already does what they need it to. GPD didn't 'lose' that sale because of the price in that instance- they've already made a sale from the first device, which is in line with what Kayday said.

GPD will do fine with this device. You have to think about more than just your wallet and the few people that voted here. It's clearly a premium product- not everyone can afford a Ferrari, but there's still a market for them. There's different price points for different consumers and products, and this one fills a different role than you are comfortable buying into, and that's OK. I'm betting that the product probably won't outsell the Win 1, but it should still do well. More choice is never a bad thing.

There's rumors there going to discontinue the Win1 and besides that it has serious design flaws which limit its lifespan more than it should.

that's actually good news if true so that GPD can one day lower the price from $600 to around $400-500. I've heard similar rumors from others well-known in the community.

I am very exciting with this computer because is more than a console and I am sure that I will get one and probably I will pay the crowdfounding even if the price of the test models is not very expensive I will buy one. GPDWin 1 is one of my favourite items and use it a lot, so I will use this a lot too.

That's expected to happen just like any device and just like any device, price will always be high when first released, give it some time and you will see a drop. i.e. cell phones, gaming console, computers. You may not be to able to get it on release date but that's the nature of the market. You  have four options if pricing is your main concern: buy, not buy, wait until price drops or buy second hand.

Or start saving up now.  But who's really just voting and following this device but not planning on getting one at some point? I feel like unless it's free people will still complain about the price. Maybe some just to get GPD to lower the price, and some who came late and haven't been following the device long-term and may be between a tablet, laptop, phone while the majority just love the device, form factor, or looking for a UMPC.

Man, UMPC's used to be way more expensive too- cheap technology has spoiled me personally, but I'll never forget paying around 1600 bucks for my Sony UX280p and thinking what a great deal it was! LOL!
And the OQO- man I wanted one of those. Almost bought a Model 02 back in the day- kinda wish I had!

Yeah, these UMPCs are still fascinating things for a diehard handhelds admirers. I'm still dreaming about getting second-hand ASUS R50A. Even though it's absolutely pointless now.

Yes definitely. Waiting on that IGG page to go up. Even got some people at work interested who'd like to use it to knock out some of their steam backlogs (indie games & older titles).

Apparently more people think its more expensive than it should be, I get it there are diehard fans that would pay almost any amount for this kind of device but there are also more that think its too much.
Don't get me wrong after seeing Phawx's videos I will probably get one but I feel like I'll be overspending, just my opinion people, don't think I'm saying its a bad because overall build quality seems much better than the original .
Still think its too expensive.

Found this thread through some searching. I'm currently undecided due to the price given what I've read about the GPD Win 1 in terms of seemingly frequent (as far as vocal Internet complaints go) QA (DOA or partially broken devices), warranty and shipping issues. I haven't bought anything from GPD before.

Question: Does anyone know long it took after initial shipments for the Win 1 to appear on Amazon with Prime shipping? Even better if the Win 2 gets sold and shipped directly by Amazon vs. 3rd party sellers' inventory being fulfilled by Amazon. Thanks!

Anyway, as someone who doesn't see GPD as a reliable company to work with yet, paying this much money is too risky for me if I'm buying directly from GPD (Indiegogo) or a foreign distributor (I'm in the USA).

I Have no Win 1 but i want one of these both, because i wanna play games with it.

the desicion is hard because the ATom and the M3 are not realy good for playing games, i would love to see a thierd version with a Raven Ridge apu, like the R5 2500 U or maybe a R3, and yes i would pay for that 600 or maybe 700 $ because i can play totaly every game with that apu's

and maybe one thing more, is there a way to use the sd slot to use also as a Sim Slot for Mobile internet data, or would it break win 10?

i would defenitly buy one with Raven Ridge, but with the m3 i am not sure

I sold off my Viliv S5 when I got my GPD Win.

My only chances are selling my win 1, or selling my body...  xD. I recently was forced to get a new car so my economy is not precisely in its best stage,
