Strange back button behavior in browsers with XD+
« on: June 25, 2018, 02:34:31 pm »
Hi,

does anyone else experience this issue? When pressing back button in chrome it sometimes goes back two pages instead of one? I'm using S8 Lightrom V3, but i dont think it has something to with it.

I wrote a little script to test this behavior. http://www.trekgonewild.de/xdplus_back_test/

In Chrome it sometimes goes back two pages.
In Opera it sometimes stays at the same page when pressing back, although it reloads the page.
In Firefox it sometimes goes back two pages, but in Firefox you can actually see that it goes back one page and immediately another page and i think it does the same in chrome, but there its much faster and you cant see it.

In my opinion, occasionally two back events are triggered. The onscreen back buttons work as aspected.
Do you have this issue too?

Thanks

I have this on my prototype. I just thought it was isolated to mine. I think maybe it has to do with timing maybe. The press count is set too low maybe?

I think that too. Just remembered this thread. https://boards.dingoonity.org/gpd-windows-devices/increase-polling-rate-for-gpd-win-controls-it%27s-really-slow-right-now!/

Firefox supports Shoulder Buttons to go back and forth and there it seems to be fine.
