reicast on gpd

I open reicast with gamesome frontend, and load the game. when I hit play it loads the home screen for the dreamcast game. how do I play the rom?

If when launching a game it just goes back to the Reicast menu means something is wrong or missing. Make sure your game isn't compressed in an archive (file extensions *.rar, *.zip, *.7zip) and Reicast only supports games in *.gdi, *chdv4, or *.cdi format. It will not play *.bin or *.iso games.
