I wasn't able to get Goat Simulator working from Amazon either.  StarWars Rebels needed a work-around to run.

My blue 32gb seems to have no major issues so far. (It FINALLY came yesterday)
No hinge noise, no whiny screen. The virtual button mapping works great, as does the physical button mapping. No flaking paint.
I have 3.2.0 as my base firmware, and it came precharged. Has excellent battery life. I was up till 3am setting it up (draining the battery to 8% before charging it back up), and I used it since about 7pm last night. It's managed an overnight charge fine (use my own charger). Doesn't feel hot when I use it.
(It handles reicast games without any so much as a hiccup. I love it!)

The diagonals DO work on mine. But as others have said they are a little spongy, though I can pull of a shoyruken about 60% of the time, so it's fine for stuff like contra. (I think it also depends on what emulator/game you use. I was using the pre-built FBA KOF 2000, and it played awful, yet the built-in SFA3 and Jojo was fine, as was the .emu series of emulators I prefer to use)

EDIT: The wifi is servicable. Even with a weak signal I can manage about 1-2mb download speed. Better than my PS3's wifi speed. (which is godawful) No loose battery or speaker crackling. Reboots fine. (Fast shutdown speed. Takes about a minute or two to boot up)

No changelog that I've found.  I am sure they post it somewhere though.  I've not found it.

No issues with the firmware though.  I used it for a while last night.

No idea.  They sometimes post informational files as downloads, and they have installation instructions in firmware downloads, so they have ways to post them.  Maybe if they tell us what they fixed, they would have to admit that something was broken. :-)

So I've been using my GPD XD for a little while now and I have noticed three very minor issues.

The first: Is that my right R1 button has come a little loose. Still clicks fine, but feels looser than the other shoulder buttons. (This could be my fault since I was stuffing it into a tight pocket. A stupid idea, but I thought it would be fine)
The second: Occasionally I see a little graphic corruption. Nothing major to be alarmed about, but it's usually just a few streaks of oddly coloured lines. Sometimes it fixes itself, sometimes it needs a reboot.
The third: This one is a little more awkward.
I don't think the sound crackles so much, as the sound output isn't outputting properly. Because I put on headphones and can hear crackly sound in some apps. Particularily PPSSPP on something like Gitaroo Man. Certain sounds crackle, other sounds and music doesn't. This doesn't happen when I don't have the headphones plugged in.
(I wonder if it's a compatibility issue with my Smokin Buds 2.0)

EDIT: I'm on 3.2.0 . I'm going to try updating to 3.3.5 and see if there are any improvements.

Ugh, just now noticed that my system was the "whine". Has anyone noticed if updating firmware helps?

Some have said that 3.3.2 made it a little better.  Not sure if the others have improved it any.  I'm partially deaf, so I can't hear it.

I have uploaded the 3.3.3 and 3.3.5 firmwares and put the links in the original post, if you want to try one.
