Legacy Rom Soft Brick

I tried installing the rom via the sd card method and am now stuck in a boot loop. Is there anything I can do to fix? I guess I can try the PC installation method, but how can I restore all my data first?

The sdcard method is not the most reliable. Make sure you use a sdcard formatted to fat32, if not you can have issues. Make sure your download file is ok too.
I don't think you can recover your data with a softbrick. Try with the PC method which is the most reliable way.

Any way I can format the card to fat32 on an Android phone? I don't have an sdcard PC adapter.

It's still soft bricked after trying to install an .img file from a fat32 card. Is it even possible to recover my data then?
