Lag when playing Gun Force II on MAME4Droid?

Does anyone else experience lag when playing Gun Force II on MAME4Droid? It slows down when there?s a lot of action going on. I?ve watched YouTube videos and there?s no lag at all. I'm using Legacy Rom 1.8 too.
