This is totally asinine. First preorders got faulty-QA units, and now all of the early adopters get screwed. I don't mean to sound bitter, the red unit is an improvement and a planned one at that, but not announcing it properly beforehand is guaranteed to make customers angry.

I welcome the change, and I think the 64GB should be the new standard. But I think that we have enough GPD XD variety - so instead of some brainless upgrade to only one component, they should focus on the next product in line. Issues to fix and improvements have already been suggested.

Condering the paint issues with the Blue XD's , I don't think they should be producing anything but black XD's (in all sizes)
Unless of course they can make the red XD's in red plastic.

personally, i consider the 32GB version have the good relationship between price and specs (space)

more than this, is better to buy a 64GB microSD

my usage is:
internal memory (32GB) is for android stuff (android games, game data, etc)
external memory card (microSD 64GB) is for roms, movies, music, etc.

I want as much internal storage as possible so I'm probably getting one of these, price is pretty good at ?140 and I like the colour. The 32gb would probably be enough but games aren't getting any smaller, I had 72gb total on my old GPD and that ran out of space so I think 128gb total is a safe bet.

How about an ultimate 128gb sdcard to rule them all? You know, then you could swap between devices... Even keeping saves, folder structure, etc..

Regarding the design of the xd,... No color could save it

If I already didn't order a 16GB model I would consider it but looking at how you can buy extra storage pretty cheap not that big a deal, more storage is great and the RED XD looks great.

Had called GPD. This Red 64G GPD XD is still not available. The one you saw is just for advertising. For most companies here, they will be back to work on 8th, Oct. There might be some companies get back sooner. It depends on their policy.

I think they should make it more storage for Android stuff is always a good thing at one point we thought 8 gb was OK and now we all know better I have a black 32 with a 32 card that I pulled from my g5a filled with my roms I likely will not be upgrading to this one

According to GPD, the 64 GB Red version was a special run production for her own aliexpress shop, not available for other resellers like me, willgoo, etc., perhaps the second run production of this console will be available for all resellers around the globe.
