GPD XD Plus no sound with ePSXe emulator

I have been setting up my new Gpd XD+ this week with the latest Cleanrom and emulators. Everything seems to be working fine except with ePSXe as the games run no problem it is just that there is no audio whatsoever.
 
I tried changing the audio settings inside the emulator but still no audio I even checked if there was any sound over the earphones. If anyone has any ideas what I'm doing wrong please let me know as I am out of ideas.

Hmm what game/s you're trying to run? Is the sound missing in all of them? Make sure you have a BIOS file selected and that Simulated HLE bios is disabled, also make sure you didn't accidently disabled sound in ePSXe sounds setting.

I have checked and have bios set to scph1001.bin as for the roms they are from various sources and in bin cue, img cue format. The emulator sound settings are at default I have changed them before but with no effect.
The games run well just no sound even when I launch just the bios the playstation logo boot up is silent.

Sadly in that case all I can recommend is to try reinstalling ePSXe as I never had such an issue on either XD or XD+.

 The ePSXe guys are pretty good about replying to technical issues on their end pretty fast. Have you tried contacting them?

I have tried uninstalling ePSXe and using rips of my retail games but still no sound. Maybe I should ask the devs but if other people with a gpd xd+ with latest Cleanrom are not having problems then maybe I should re flash the device.

UPDATE I have just updated cleanrom to 2.0.3.0 and the the sound issues are gone. No idea what the problem was but I'm glad its fixed.
