if that's a 4.3" or 5" with dual or quad and at least 1 gb of ram i'm going for it!
the s5800 was cancelled, i don't want the much i5 cause i already have a phone and the s5110b has a lot of troubles
please dear god of gaming make it 4.3" (or 5" but please a handheld that  fits your pocket!!)!

ok i Reallllllly like this one so hopefully you won't tell them "change the disc dpad to a + cross dpad" lol oh my god i like this one so much that i'm even ok with the right analog stick not being near the bottom which is better for MAME vertical gaming

hopefully now people will have the choice , "GPD-G5 for a cross dpad " or.. "GPD-G7 for a disc dpad " .. instead of this device having a cross + dpad , where people don't have two different options anymore

i would So buy that right now at this moment if the concept stays the same mhmm
i'm cheating on my PSPs

i suggested to change this dpad too, but i prefer to wait after we test the G5 device. if this is ok, then this most probably will get the same cross dpad. ^_^

trust on me. this dpad is not a good choice. (i tested so many devices, and i?m sure that is a better bet to put a normal cross dpad)

but, let me to get some feeling about the device, and i will tell to you if dpad is really comfortable or not.

take it easy. this is only a render. a concept based on the same visual components than the first G5 render.

that's horrible news , where is this area to contact them so that mabye other people can request the type of dpad that they like instead of handhelds being designed to one person's preference

in the GPD-G5 thread most people agreed with me about the dpad choice , where do those people get to put their vote for this device's dpad ?

trust on me. this dpad is not a good choice. (i tested so many devices, and i?m sure that is a better bet to put a normal cross dpad)

your fingers and the way that you play fighting games is probably good for + cross dpad , but i want to be able to enter special moves without hurting the handheld's shell plus i don't press things hard anyway

almost every emulator handheld i have ever seen have either the PSP type dpad or the + cross dpad like the LetCool and Dingoo and GCW Zero .. isn't it time for handhelds to come out with an alternative so that people could give the other dpad style a chance ?

speakers position could be a problem...

yes, maybe, but there is no so much other alternatives (to locate speakers in the front)

Girl

I don?t know where is the contact area. I don?t know who is designing this device. I bring my suggestions for them, but i'm not designing this device (for me, the DPAD will be the same as PSX controllers, that for me is the best for fighting games) XD

any case, i?m suggesting another choices, mention other dpad solutions too.   ;)

I see we're starting to have the same conversation about the dpad as we did on the G5.  I'm still riding the middle on this. I'd love to have a saturn style dpad but i think going with a simple cross design so it doesn't get messed up is the best option.

I remember back when I got a GBA I bought a no name brand accessory pack to go with it that had a few different styles of disc shaped dpads that you clipped on the top of the cross dpad.  There was one inparticular that I found really comfortable and easy to use.  Doing diagonals or circle motions weren't a problem.  Maybe something like that would be a good compromise.

Moving past the dpad I like the design of this one, seems like it will be pretty comfortable.  i agree the speaker placement is probably not the best, i think your hands would end up laying on top of them.  I think I would choose the G5 over the G7 just  because I perfer the 5" devices for handhelds.

In fact, one of my suggestions was to include some accessory similar to what you are suggesting. I based on PSP1000 example, where Street Fighter Alpha game come with a new DPAD that you dock in the DPAD, and give as a result a comfortable way to play SFA on PSP.

do you have any image of the accessory you mention?

This device looks awesome.

It just needs an OD and coyote color versions instead of the white one.
