G5A is stuck!

I got a G5A a couple of weeks ago and immediately flashed Legacy Rom 1.1 KitKat. It was working fine for a few days. The battery life is pretty bad but, the games played pretty well. About a week ago, I tried to turn on the G5A and it showed the loading screen. Now, that's all it would show. I tried a soft reset. I tried a hard reset. I tried flashing Legacy Rom 1.0 JB. That failed. I don't have access to an earlier Windows machine than 8.1. Can I do anything with a Linux LiveCD? Are there any tutorials for that? Thanks!

Reflash with a Windows 7 machine. Rockchio sucks when using Windows 8.1.

I might be able to do that at a friends house but, I only have Windows 8.1. Can I use Linux? Thanks!

You need windows I am afraid. You can try to virtualize a win 7 under your win 8.....
