Sharing experiences is not bad mouthing. I had to forward his emails with dates to my bank to get a refund. If he was not a liar, I would not have been able to get a refund. I had to prove it. He had weeks to try to do the right thing and he did not. Good for him if he can do a better job, but no one needs to feel sorry for him.

I agree, and this is exactly the manner in which things need to be worked out. Constructively if at all possible.  So kudos to you retro  :)

I am not on a mission ruin his reputation or his business. Honestly the only reason I joined the conversation regarding this is because although my profile shows I just joined (I cant seem to get into my old retrogamer profile) I have been coming to this website for years. I think the people on here are great and I have learned so much about emulation and gaming I cant thank this website enough. Hopefully going forward this does not happen.

I share and write on many forums about gaming and retro, but I have not met with chance, that the guy who stole so much money to so many people was still traveling around the forum and has not got a ban for a long time. After all, this thief did not give money to anyone willingly, the only refunds that took place was chargeback or open dispute from paypal, so grace did not do anyone. A crib is slowly being made of it, but as you can see, everyone can set up their own shop, steal as much as possible and not suffer any consequences. Keep on moderating like that!

Mountainmohawk paid $185 and got no refund AFAIK. Zwiebeljack9000 and Meanthord are also due refunds I think.

Basically anybody who ordered on here and is past the 180 day Paypal claim deadline or didn't order via credit card hasn't got refund.

Hi everyone. Pending refunds are to be issued by Thursday morning... this is my final word on the matter. I have cleared up an account or two that were issues for my business & all is well.

Fuck off thief!! I'm not going to be reasonable to you. All you had to do was promptly refund people the money they're owed. But you didn't because you already spent all the money (probably on gambling @casinos and bedding prostitutes), as it was your scam plan all along.
I know you're just going to try to gain everyone's trust again and then a year from now....BAM!! SCAM TIME AGAIN!!!!!

I'm a bit late to the thread but I figured I'd still leave my experience for anybody coming across this who are considering using this seller. I also want to point out that this occurred with a GPD order and had nothing to do with that GCW failure, yet he still did some very shady shit when pressed about the GPD and then the refund. If you're reading this and considering a pre-order through him, don't waste your time. You'll be better off paying the ~$20 or so more any real seller will be charging to actually get your product.


I purchased a GPD from him around the time he was having problems with his GCW pre-orders. He claimed he was about to order the next shipment from GPD within the next 4-5 days from when I paid, around September 12th, and would be shipping them to customers around the 23rd of that month. I heard nothing more and contacted him on the 23rd about it and he had still not even ordered the units from GPD, so I was unable to get the red model I originally ordered through him because it was discontinued by then. I was lenient and gave him more time to get a black model, then contacted him yet again after hearing nothing on September 29th with no reply, then again on October 9th where he very briefly replied about a partial refund but gave no update on the order. Contacted him again on the 11th and 12th, after his profile showed he had logged in both those days so he had to have seen the messages but ignored them because I was asking when my GPD would ship. Finally had to file a complaint through Paypal around the 14th when I found out about the GCW problem and realize he had probably given my money to someone else and hadn't ever even ordered the GPD. Finally got a refund on the 21st of October, all the while he ignored the attempts to message him on here and never replied about the matter in the paypal resolution center.

Paypal. After I started asking about my product when he was already 3-4 weeks late on shipping it he stopped responding. Then when I opened a dispute in Paypal, he never responded to that either and I was refunded after the time they give the seller to respond expired.

I have spoken with Zwiebeljack9000 over PM a few days ago... I apologized and mentioned his refund should come within the next few days... no later than Tuesday afternoon.

Once again, I apologize for the entire situation & truly wish that this ordeal never occurred in the first place.

Why wish someone harm when they did no wrong to you? If I were you, I would cancel my order as customers like you give shopping a bad name...
