The real issue here is culpability and proper business practice. When you take someone's money in exchange for goods or a service you become responsible for said goods or service. In this case, the customer is not dealing with GCW or GPD, they are dealing with Dreamesper.  It was unfortunate what happened with the gcw0. And yes, overall, it was not Dreamesper's fault it fell apart. However, where he is failing in this matter fault or not, he was/is still responsible for the customer. Business has it's risks. It's never a good idea to pass the buck off to the very base you wish to do commerce with.
Everyone deserves a second chance. Trust however is earned not given. After the gcw0 fell through customers could not get straight answers and still can't. Some had to resort to other methods to get their money returned.

Dreamesper, the community is trying to send you a message. They want to believe. Everyone deserves a second chance if earned. You cannot demand it. Accept responsibility, restore faith in your customer base and all this back and forth crap will go away.

@dreamesper and your proof is...?

C'mon, man. After the GCW0 fiasco, people do have a hard time trusting you with pre-orders. I am not trying to be a jerk, honestly. But I think I speak for many of the forum members when I say that maybe we need more insurance before making a purchase from you  :)

I can not vouch for Dreamesper as a business, I am neutral to all of this. What I do know is that he and I are in the same chat group that discusses the XD+ as a prototype and we have been relaying some of the questions that the xd community has. I can also verify that the testers ( 3 so far in the chat: Phawx, Skelton, and tattwah ) have asked him about gpd and their communication with him about how they want to price them and when the estimated release will be. This is not a verification of his ties with GPD, it is just an observation I have made is all.

As far as having product on hand and how he sells his products, logically speaking in this particular scenario people that preorder the xd+ will have the advantage and will be receiving it before anyone else since he will be getting the first batch on release date. ( as long as he can meet the required order of 10-12 )

If he chooses to start ordering batches to have on-hand, he will then have to list them, then you will have to place the order, and then he will ship them. This will mean you will most likely get them after initial pre-order batch. May not be a big deal but it is something to consider.

For those that may have been wronged I would suggest maybe discussing it with Dreamesper and maybe figuring out a way to resolve it. Perhaps there is a discount involved or a an option for faster shipping. Seems to me like all of this was just a bad set of circumstances.

Either way do not put me down for "for" or "against". Until I have my own business dealings with Dream, I can not judge. I am just stating what I have seen.

I am inquiring myself about maybe becoming a re-seller myself. Im sure its not too easy to start out and I just want to give him the benefit of doubt.

For those of you that still feel at odds over the GCW ZERO fiasco & also who are still awaiting refunds, I can make a few exceptions for small discounts if you decide to preorder a new XD+.

Kindly get in contact with me thru this thread, via PM or through my contact email at dreamesper.com

Thanks!   ;)

Well my dealings with him had nothing to do with bad circumstances. I tried to buy a GPD win and dealt with nothing but flat out lies in every aspect of the transaction from when it would ship to getting refunded. Not a chance I would buy from him again. If anyone decides to buy from him after reading the warnings from various people on here, his facebook page etc, they get what they deserve at this point.

Facebook quotes from his facebook page:

"This seller won't give me a refund. I have asked for it since last week."
"Cannot deliver, promises refund but never refunds."
"He's a scammer, doesn't deliver the product or issue refunds."
"WARNING! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING HERE ! IT IS A BIG SCAM !"

If people decide to order from him, I hope maybe this time he will provide better service. Good Luck.

And I can testify about those Facebook quotes, it's real and from different customers.

@dreamesper here's my 2?...

IF there is a way for you to build a good reputation in the forums, you'll have to have the units in your possession (with proof) before you sell them to potential customers. Otherwise, you're out of luck, man. You'll have to invest.

You're entitled to your opinion... but I have high hopes for this business. I think it'll take off bigtime within 1-2 years.

Thanks though...

Just so nobody misses it from him opening a post to deflect from all the bad reviews in the previous one, I'm going to repost this warning to any potential buyers.

Going to have to back up what the majority of everybody else is saying here.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a GPD from him around the time he was having problems with his GCW pre-orders. He claimed he was about to order the next shipment from GPD within the next 4-5 days from when I paid, around September 12th, and would be shipping them to customers around the 23rd of that month. I heard nothing more and contacted him on the 23rd about it and he had still not even ordered the units from GPD, so I was unable to get the red model I originally ordered through him because it was discontinued by then. I was lenient and gave him more time to get a black model, then contacted him yet again after hearing nothing on September 29th with no reply, then again on October 9th where he very briefly replied about a partial refund but gave no update on the order. Contacted him again on the 11th and 12th, after his profile showed he had logged in both those days so he had to have seen the messages but ignored them because I was asking when my GPD would ship. Finally had to file a complaint through Paypal around the 14th when I found out about the GCW problem and realize he had probably given my money to someone else and hadn't ever even ordered the GPD. Finally got a refund on the 21st of October, all the while he ignored the attempts to message him on here and never replied about the matter in the paypal resolution center.

again,
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always good to warn people. Thanks for sharing. No one should support these types of wannabe sellers.

Honestly Dreamesper I would just give it up, nobody on here is going to buy from you. If you Google "dreamesper" the first page of results shows the GCW Zero disaster thread on here, a Reddit thread which is basically identical (paid you money, no item, no refund, no communications) and your absolute train wreck of a Facebook page.

I don't really know where you can go from here. The more you post the more people will seek to warn others of your dishonest antics, which in turn means more people who Google your store will be turned away when they read the numerous testimonials from your unhappy customers. Your spam posts are destroying what little business you have left as well as annoying the fuck out of people on these boards.

Everyone makes mistakes.

Maybe there are reasons for what has happened.

Give the guy a chance to speak about it and make it right.

Telling lies is not a mistake. If you had the misfortune of dealing with him you would understand that there was no mistakes.
