Is there a micro-SD card slot?

After seeing that video and updated specs on Willgoo's site I've decided I don't want this handheld so much. JXD S7800b is a WAY better. Still interested in G5, though.

For the price point this one seems to be pretty good.  I definately like the look of the analogs and d-pad; buttons look like they have a nice placement also.  The shape seems to fit your hands nicely and I think it would be comfortable for extended gaming time.  I'll be waiting to hear reports on how the buttons, analogs & d-pad feel. Also hear some reports on the battery life.  One thing I'm not too fond of is the big black border around the screen.  Seems unnecessary and made the device just a bit bigger than needed.  In that first pic comparing the g5 & g7, it looks like the g5 is just as wide as the g7 just not a tall.  If i had to choose between the two I'd probably go with the g7 just on that fact alone.  If it's going to be almost the same size might as well go with a bigger screen.

I just got myself a shield when they had the black friday sale so I'll be sticking with that for a good while.  If I decide to get something with a 7" screen this one will be the one I'd go with.

Mr Willgoo
I hate to ask this unrelated question in this topic, but could you check your PMs? Thanks!

Is the CPU clock 1.8 Ghz correct in the final specs, or will it be less?

Will the performance be the approx. the same as on the JXD 7800? And how good will Dreamcast games run on it?

Thanks.

well according to specs, its got a quadcore rockchip with a res of 1024*600, which should have better performance than the 7800b which has the same chip but runs at 1280x800. It should run the DC emu as good as, if not better, than anything out there right now, besides the gpd g5a, which has an even lower res (800x480). The only thing that would hurt performance is the emu itself, because it may not be very optimized as it is so new, however i've read that it is actually quite stable and runs most games well =)

Yes, so far we can play all the emulator games. You can check the video that we took for emulator games.

I don't thing it is a good idea to compare both GPD G7 and GPD G5A with JXD S7800B. They have different designs. For me, I think GPD G7 and G5A are more like gaming console. 7800B is the combination for gaming console and tablets.

The resolution on G7 is much better than G5A. But the size of G5A is more comfortable for you to play games.

They do have their good points. You can select according to your demand.

The good news is that we will get these two items during this week. We will share you more final version pictures to you at that time.

Thanks. ;)

Wish they can be your new year gifts!

Till now, we do not have any news on this model. It should be the  GPD G5A released in these coming days.
