One question since BOB issues were caused be a fake temp sensor does this means that XD+ can burn itself by overheating? Especially when unlocked at 2.1ghz?

There's no ten sensor so the XD+ won't know when to throttle, and if it will start to overheat how will I know?

While there's a theoretical chance for overheating to occur, the only time I've found this to be the case was after a bad Magisk installation on my end that continually crashed and restarted the Google Play Services.

Under normal circumstances I haven't had this happen to me yet.
Future revisions of CleanROM will probably feature a "stock clock" toggle of some kind in the settings menu though for those that want to skip out on the extra-boost.

Finally installed this latest version.
I have no root now, did I miss something I need to do or it is not on the Rom now?
I've not used my XD+ for ages so memory is rusty. Did the SPFlash download install.

Nope, no root on 2.0.0, you have to manually install Magix and flash it via TWRP.
It's easy.

Hi,

I have CleanRom v1-ish installed on my XD+. According to the instructions, you have to clean flash to upgrade to v2.0. Which means a couple hours of work backing up stuff.

Has anyone attempted to dirty flash?

I had 1. Something from July.
Couldn't the TWRP method so wiped everything using SPFlash.
Made a backup with Titanium and it puts most stuff back to how it was.

I don't understand why the use of patreon for a firmware that comes from a leaked source code. Wouldn't be better just to release the firmware for everyone with a PayPal coffee donations? That's what we most devs do at xda developers for example. Even cemu users have only one week of waiting.
I don't complain, but sounds quite strange for me to release a firmware that way.

I do not understand the work of Patreon.
