Are you using CDI or GDI images? I've been using the latest build with no crashes so far. Also, i'm using legacy rom.

I'm on stock firmware. Not all games run well with some graphic error.

Hi, I dont know what "the hell" you did but somehow you improved compatibility of the emulator with this release.
Few examples that dont work on official build, but do on yours:

- Ecco the dolphin - defender of the future
- Gauntlet Legends




A very few graphical glitches appeared on some games like Daytona USA btw.....

The commit doesn't seem to include something New. Can be seen un their github.

https://github.com/reicast/reicast-emulator/commits/master

This emu is pretty abandonned. I heard they were looking external financing to dedicate more hours to development. I think shenmue 2 worked in previous build, isn't It? With some glitches though, but not sure.

Reicast has so much potential. Honestly i never understood why they didn't took the same approach as Exophase did with DraStic, putting a fair price. I would like to play more Dreamcast games, but the lacking of save states and game shark support it's not so great for me.

Hmm... interesting... I may have to try one of the previous builds then for Shenmue 2. Would love to play that game if possible.

Shenmue II always crashed in every Reicast built I tried. If you use the normal settings, it crashes right after the intro movie. You can get past that point using the re-compiler (which is a pain, because it is very slow), but the game will crash also a little bit later (you can reach the first save point, so you can try if it works better in a later version by just loading your save).

Well, that's the very first thing I try everytime I see a new version of Reicast (speaking of which, there is a new one from twodays ago), but the answer is sadly no :( The game is otherwise quite playable, but it sure ruins the mood...
