Back and Home button weirdness
« on: December 31, 2017, 06:19:24 am »
Hey all.

Whenever I click on either of these, in any application, they both go to the Desktop screen now.

It wasn't like this before and I don't know what I might have done to change how they function.

Any help?

I guess they both are working correctly now.

Not sure what I did though.

Anyway, in RetroArch, is it not possible to map the Home and Back buttons?

The Back button doesn't seem to be recognized and the Home button, instead of being able to map this, it just takes me to the Desktop.

Please and thank you.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can map the Home button/back button?  Wouldn't that be like trying to map the power button. It has it's base functionality. Maybe that's why you encountered your aforementioned problem? I've only had the xd for a short while so I'm no expert .

btw did you resolve your other problem with the mouse cursor in Magic Dosbox?

It seems like the Back button is disabled in Retroarch for some reason.

So it actually does nothing while in the app.

I wish that I could still map it though.

As with Magicbox, the closest app I found available is called J Touch but it doesn't feature controller support.

Using the touch screen with this is fine though,  so I'm actually quite happy with how I have it customized.
