Indeed, Happy New Year to all!

I have been able to spend quite a bit of time on both the frontend and builder over the holidays. The frontend is essentially ready and I'm just working through the final features and bug fixes for the builder. I expect to make the release really soon now. Thanks for your continued interest. :)

Hi guys, excuse me for this off topic issue, but I noticed some problem with my device whom sometime have its touchscreen getting mad when I hold my finger on the screen. Has this never happened to you? How can I manage it?
Thank you very much. Bye.

Never heard of this problem, but I don't see, why you ask here instead of opening a thread for your question.

On Topic: Thanks for all your work StatMat, I am looking forward to your release.

Hey guys,
I have indeed been continuing to work on both the FrontEnd and builder. Whilst I was able to spend a fair amount of time on them over the holidays, I wasn't quite able to finish up. I will continue to work on them and have a release in the next month or so. But anyway, here's a small taster of the builder's skin editor in action:

Can you save the games in this frontend?

It's a front end launcher - the emulator itself (UAE) provides the save functionality just as it does now without the front end.

Yes, but when you install WHDLoad on your device it is not possible to save your games

@turok981 Indeed. That is why i switched back to normal adf games.
Save state. And also the games are more compatible and always cracked.
Funny if you play Indiana Jones or Flood on WHD and a screen appears:  "What is the code on site...:"
Holy fu**
Then you have to search in internet for the old code wheels.. That is awesome. Find all.But takes too much time..

Waiting for the fontend and playing normal with UAE now.
Last game i tried and finished "Unreal" for Amiga. That is a 2D/3D jump run:
Give it a try. It is hillarious..

The main problem regards the emulator used on the GPD XD which cannot use hdf files bigger than 1GB

@turok981 May you could do a fast tutorial or explain me how to do that.
Script? Must this be done on a hdf file or what?

Thx

first of all download these folders

1. Folder "System" (without quotation marks):

http://www.filedropper.com/system_6

or

<img src=http://www.filedropper.com/download_button.png width=127 height=145 border=0/>
<div style=font-size:9px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;width:127px;font-color:#44a854;> <a href=http://www.filedropper.com >file upload</div>

2. Folder "DH1" (without quotation marks):

http://www.filedropper.com/dh1_1

or

<img src=http://www.filedropper.com/download_button.png width=127 height=145 border=0/>
<div style=font-size:9px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;width:127px;font-color:#44a854;> <a href=http://www.filedropper.com >online backup storage</div>

3. WHDLoad Collection 2016-01-21

http://www.theisozone.com/downloads/retro/amiga/whdload-collection-2016-01-21/ .

-Now unzip all folders (System, DH1 and WHDLoad Collection(*1)) in a specific folder in your device (like Roms/Amiga).
(*1) for WHDLoad Collection folder I suggest you to unzip only the folder named "Games-WHDLoad" for games; extract also the lha files for every game till you have a folder and a file called name_of_game.info.

'Rename the folder "Games-WHDLoad" in "A-Games" and group all the games in specific alfabetical folders (folders named "0-9", "A", "B", "C", "D" etc. till "Z"), so all the games starting with A should be moved in the folder named "A" (without quotation marks), all the games starting with B should be moved in the folder named "B" (without quotation marks), all the games starting with C should be moved in the folder named "C" (without quotation marks) and so on.

-Configure UAE4Arm this way:

- Paths: 'System Roms' should link to your kickstarts directory (system/devs)

- CPU: 'CPU' should be 68020 (for the A1200) / 'CPU Speed' 14 mhz (or more to be faster) / 'FPU' None (*2)

If you play A500 Games and have problems of speed with some games (Jim Power for example) modify to 68000/7Mhz

(*2) Regarding gameplay speed, it is better if you set for CPU these values 'CPU' 68020 (for the A1200) / 'CPU Speed' 7 mhz / 'FPU' None; in this case also RAM values should be modifed in 'Chip' 2MB, 'Slow' 1,5MB, 'Fast' 8MB

- Chipset: 'Chipset' AGA / 'Blitter' Normal / 'Collision level' Sprites ans Sprites vs Playfield / 'Copper' Fast copper

If you play A500 Games and have problems, modify AGA to OCS/ECS

- ROM: 'Main ROM File' should link to the kick31.rom (located in System/devs)

- RAM: 'Chip 2MB', 'Fast 8MB'

WHDload environment asks at least 4Mb of RAM.

- Floppy drives: 'Floppy Drive Emulation Speed' 800%

-In your emulator GUI  go to the "Hard drives / CD" and push on Add directory and browse to your folder System; push again on Add directory and browse to your folder DH1; push again on Add directory and browse to your folder A-Games.

-Click on Start and choose the voice Games.
