I have the GamePad App, for the Method 2 I did, but it does not have the Null Joystick. Only XBox/PS3 and L&R Normal/Swap. Also for Method 2, now it takes my GPD XD a while to Boot. Sometimes I have to Force Shut Down then try again.

Edit: I got the App Installed and it now shows NULL Joystick Mode.......but when I Select it, the App freezes, and the Device Restarts.

If you installed my ROM the null option should be there. If wasn't there is because you installed something different or the ROM wasn't installed correctly, because the gamepad APK I have provided you is the one that comes with the ROM. I suggest to do a fresh install using method 1 from PC. Or via sdcard using the update tablet app that comes with the ROM, select offline upgrade and select your update.img file. But it seems something is wrong with your device during the installation (because null mode should be there after installing my ROM) so I suggest a fresh install using method 1.

So best way to make it run faster and correctly with no issues is to just start from scratch. OK. Will see about it.

Got it up and running, but when I try to access Security Settings, Settings Crashes on me. But NULL Joystick works .
Actually, I am wondering: How hard would it be to Emulate the MOGA Power A Controllers? Specifically, the A Mode not the B Mode (HID) ? Because for example, Asphalt 7: Heat will not work correctly for PS3 or XBox Mode. But on my other Devices, the Game works perfectly with the Moga Controllers. Not to mention, there are tons of other Games that will work perfectly with them.

There is no source code for moga mode A, so without source code..... They use propietary software. The mode B is just standard HID, at least in my moga pro.

Tincore has a mode M that supposedly emulates a MOGA, maybe you can try with it. Or gamepad helper I think it has the same option, not sure if it works. But it's more a problem of game developers giving support just for one gamepad instead of using generic HID. (probably because thet got money from Moga people). Fortunately most current games use standard hid controllers, and not many games depend on moga anymore.

Anyhow, if someone know to implement it, they can try . The kernel code is in my github in first post. I no longer have an XD and this rom is discontinued.

But yeah, it would be a good addition so the GPD GamePad can be used under that for better Compatibility. Hopefully someone can figure it out since the XD does not have Bluetooth

Well I found another Problem. I am trying to Delete a App, but then the System Restarts. Also, I am transferring over some Games and the Device is getting VERY hot. I got most of everything put in since I did a few Screen Shots before I Formatted. So hopefully it will cool down soon.

Yeah, I am noticing some problems with Semi-Solutions:
Unable to Uninstall Apps or go into Security Settings: Remove MicroSD/TF Card prior to Powering On the Device. Somehow, that makes it work.......only thing is, you will get Crash Messages about the System Update has Stopped.

Transfer to Device via USB starts getting the Device to run hot: Once you establish USB Connection, turn off the Screen and only do a few Transfers at a time. Device will still get Warm, but if you Limit the Transfers with the Screen Off, it should be fine.

Issue: There are those times, when I am trying to access something in a Emulator or Game, and I get that Wheel coming up like it is a Screen Shortcut. Dont know if it is the SO Launcher or the new ROM that has this.
Also getting the Menu Slide from the Left where you can Clear the Memory is hard to get at now.

I have noticed that a Game I tried running on the Stock ROM that did not Display correctly now runs perfectly. Bejeweled Classic (AKA: Bejeweled 3) used to be Zoomed in on so you could not do anything with it. Now, it shows up perfectly and is Playable. Kind of the same thing with Bejeweled 2.

Just dont know why there is a Bluetooth Option when it does have BT. Would be nice.......but no.

@skelton Hello, Skelton. I'm very happy using your LegacyROM , but I have a trouble with my GPD XD :
from time to time Task manager and Home buttons doesn't work! I need to restart device and sometimes it's help, sometimes no. And one strange thing: when this buttons not working, I hold Task Manager button and appears home screen settings (wallpapers, widgets etc). Holding Home buttons does no effect.
Please, help me. It's a software fault, so there must be answer.

I was never been able to reproduce that issue. Buttons and joysticks  software are similar to stock rom. It seems it only affecting a few people so i am not so sure that it's a rom problem, because everyone here would have that issue, and it seems only a few people have it. The rom is also discontinued so.....

But keyguard is just for lockscreen. It shouldn't have to do with It. Also all Android firmware include that. Try with an app like disable service which is free on Play store, and it allow to stop services from running at boot.

But that system process is in all Android firmware. Stock rom must have it Too. Also, as i said, It seems only happens to a few people ramdomly, so i don't think it's a firmware problem. Or It is in stock Too and happens ramdomly, but i never suffered that issue.
