All of a sudden my home and app menu buttons don't work. I can't exit a game with my home button. I have to hit back til I hopefully get an exit option. Did I accidentally unmap the home button? Any help would be appreciated.

It's a known bug of custom rom. It happens to me time to time. No way to detect the reason. I just restart my GPD until buttons work again.

It never happened to me, though some people (not many because I only saw a couple of reports) report that happens from time to time. Buttons and joystick driver are similar to stock rom, so there is no change there.

4 or 5 reports I think. It's not really a problem and it appears randomly for me so not easy to debug.

Sorry for the noob question but is the latest version of the rom posted in page one of this thread? I know it says it has been discontinued but I want to make sure I am installing the latest available. Thanks in advance.

The 1,8 GHz allow you to select all CPU speeds until 1,8.

If you want to toggle between speeds using skeltons 1.8GHz rom try using this guide:
http://sectioneight.net/gpd-xd/tutorials/gpd-xd-novice-guide-legacy-rom-18ghz

Makes it easy for you to toggle and puts a widget on your home launcher.

Only reason I'm asking because in retro video gamers video he mentions to go to 1.4 in order to change speed to 1.6,1.8 and if you went to 1.8 you were stuck on that speed and couldn't change.

Ok I just upgraded to 1.8, what's the first thing I should do? I saw the turbo option but I would like to enable every time through a app and shut it down when I'm done. You mentioned something and to governer it. Please explain how I should have it set up please

Never mind lol.... I followed your video and made the wigets. Life is easy again lol. Quick question, at near end of video you mention to hit turbo on to play again. Is that 1.4 or 1.6? I thought turbo off was when the GPD is running the 1.4 stock version. Then when I double tap turbo on the GPD is running at 1.6 and turbo max it's at 1.8. Then when I'm done hit the turbo off to get back to stock. Am I wrong?

Yeh sorry. For the tutorial video I setup
Turbo OFF: 1.4 GHz ( Same as stock )
Turbo On: 1.6 GHz ( personally I don't use )
Turbo Max: 1.8 GHz ( High Performance )

For " My Setup " Video ( what my gpd xd looks like ), I just use on and off:
Turbo Off: 1.4GHz
Turbo On: 1.8GHz

I don't see a need for 1.6GHz but for the sake of the tutorial I put it in in case someone makes use of it.
One of the biggest reasons I like this app is because of the added safety from knowing if you shut off your gpd xd on 1.8ghz, it will reset to 1.4GHz on its own if you set it up like the tutorial shows.
