I have been checking code a little bit, and I think I can make a compatible version for PSV versions, the ones with new analogs. I cannot test it by myself, so cannot guarantee it will work perfect.

I don't have much free time so if anyone is interested in testing let me know. Also, tell me which speed do you want the ROM (1,4 ghz, 1,6 or 1,8).

I cannot guarantee that it will work, so if there is any volunteer must be prepared to go back to q9PSV stock if something goe s wrong.

I hace received a new model Q9 instead of the one I sent for RMA. I dont really use the Vita style analogs and now I have lost compatibility with the superb LegacyRom so I think I have lost with the change.

Skelton, please count on me for the tests.

P.S: Para la gente de Espa?a, la consola es del nuevo lote de Zococity.

I'll try compiling a new kernel in the next few days. Do you prefer 1,6 ghz speed? 1,8 ghz? just 1,4 like in stock? Let me know.

I dont really use max speed in these devices. I guess 1.6 may be enough. But that is just my oppinion.

Thanks for your help

I have uploaded a version for the Q9PSV batch, the one that uses the same analogs as GPD X_D.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6JKf-QJv2KAWmNUQUdRcGRrQVE/view?usp=sharing

If someone with this q9psv devices tests it ,let me know if analog directions are working ok or not (it's the only difference between q9 and q9psv, the analog directions)

In case it's not workng you can install this stock firmware to go back to stock.

I have tried the ROM for a couple hours and eveything seems to be working OK. I tested the analogs with PPSSPP and Nova 3 and they work smooth. Other emulators/android games are OK too.

I'll spend another couple hours testing this afternoon but I think the ROM is flawless on its current state.

Regards

Hello Skelton, I tried to download the file from http://pan.baidu.com/s/1jGyBb3g
Its immpossible, all is in Chinese.
I have a doubt. In this forum I've found a version call "Q9 V2.1.0 EN" posted in 28th june and in the official page (Directory) appear other "version Finale" called "Q9PSV V5.0.2 English Firmware.zip"

So, is the same version?

Thanks.

To download from pan baidu try using jdownloader.

Which model do you have Q9 or Q9PSV? Depending on your model you need one firmware or the other.

Stock firmware you mention (Q9 2.1.0) is for standard model of q9. The firmware for PSV model start with Q9PSV-number of version.

My firmware support both devices, so depending in the model you have, just download the package that corresponds to your device.

Have in mind I cannot test by myself because I don't have the PSV model, so flash it at your own risk.

I'm holding down Power and Vol+ but my GPD Q9PSV will not boot to recovery. It just shuts down and the box on the BatchTool stays Pink. What to do?

It's explained in the installation instructions:

With GPD power off, just connect it via USB Cable to PC. Then just press and Hold Volume + button and Press Power. RK Batch Tool will detect device, and you'll see the number 1 with a green box. If you see with a pink box, just select Switch Button until you see it in green

Thanks. will this update help with installing apks to the "Internal" I want to install everything on the Nand or External SD. It seems that smaller apps, less than 50% always install on the small 2GB Internal.

There is an option in settings to become your SD the main memory for your obb data. In this sense my rom works the same as stock firmware.

Yes, I have done that, but for some reason it still installs games on the "System" or "Ram" I think. I try and install an app and it tells me I don't have enough memory even though I have plenty room on my 64GB sd card. Games like Wind Up Knight and Tiny Keep which are 50-200gb I can't move.

apks are installed in the 3 GB data partition. Have many apps have you installed to fill that partition? You'll have to remove some or some app like Link2SD or folder mount to send them to microSd.

As I say, in my firmware the partitions are the same way that in stock firmware. I haven't changed that.

If you need more GB in your data partition you need to extract the firmware and edit the parameter file, repack and reflash.

Here's a guide for RK3188, but for Rk3288 is pretty much the same:
