[G5A] Return to Castle Wolfenstein Touch controls
« on: March 11, 2014, 11:31:04 pm »
Been playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein Touch version a bit recently, it's ace and the controls seemed to be configured out of the box for the G5A. However I got to a section where you need to crouch and it seems none of the buttons are mapped. There is a face button and two shoulder buttons spare but I can't map these in the options despite being able to map quick save and load to the dpad.

Anybody have any luck with this before I mail the developer? It kinda breaks the game as you need to crouch!
Handhelds:
GPD Win, GPD XD 64gb, PlayGo, RS-90, 3DS XL, DSi XL, GBA SP, GBBC Clone, Gameboy Pocket c/w screen mod, PSP Go
PC:
Medion Erazer, Toshiba Z20t, Dell Mini 9, Psion 5MX
Tons of other old laptops and tablets.....

Thanks ruffnuts but it turns out I was just being a dumbass and trying to map the controls from within the game rather than from the launch menu which I had totally forgotten about!

Yeah they are really well done, RtCW is a brilliant game too. Will pick Quake I & II up at some point, would be cool if they could do Soldier of Fortune II and COD as well.

Just seen that another Quake 3 engine game has been made free too, the horror FPS Dark Salvation:

I have the return to castle wolfenstein disc for PC so I already have the data I need.   How is the android port of return to castle wolfenstein?  I bought the quake 2 one and it runs well on my s5110b...

It runs really well, the controls are great but I would like two things to be added. The first is an analog sensitivity option in the menu and the other is analog mouse control in the in-game menu (or at least an enter button). Apart from that it's great, once you have a quicksave (I map save and load to Dpad up and down) you can just launch the game and quyickload, bypassing all the menus.

I have another problem now - I am stuck on the stealth bit of Mission 3 and have already killed the two guards at the end of the tunnel where the car is, however I think I need them to be alive and talking so I can sneak past and I don't have an earlier save game.

If anybody gets to this part I would be grateful of a save game!
