Yes, Kelvin have said this even before interview. Of course, everything may change before June.

Thank you. Guess It'll probably take even longer because things like this always get delayed. Maybe I should go with the normal version then.

I, too, was thinking of waiting for the g5a+, but I just ordered the g5a instead of waiting!

Can I ask you why? G5A is not good enough? I don't know if it's better to buy current G5A or wait for G5A+ or a reviewed G5A =(

Simply because G5a is a great console, and G5A+ will be even greater. When I get my "+" version, I won't mind to put the previous version on the shelf next to JXD S5110, S7300b and other stuff, just for my little collection of gadgets (I don't like to sell my old devices). But other people may give away their old G5As to their friends and relatives, it will be a very nice gift for them. Or simply may keep them as source of replacement for speakers/ports/buttons/joysticks/battery and enclosure for the new model (I guess they will be the same).

That is a good point about replacement parts.  I was looking at a picture of the inside of the g5a and everything looks more modular than my jxd devices.  It looks, for instance, like the analogs plug in via ribbon cables to the main board and are removable.  This may make replacing a messed up analog much easier than other similar devices that require soldering.  That would be a good reason to hang on to your older model.
