Title: Worm Warrior for the Gemei A330
Post by: cdoty on September 29, 2012, 08:20:44 am
Here's my initial port of Worm Warrior to the Gemei A330:

The game runs a bit slow, and will occasionally crash when pressing start on the title screen.

The port is based on code from Harteex (http://code.google.com/p/dingoo-sdk/) and the included SDL port.

I am going to change this to use the SML graphics library, but most likely will use SDL for sound and input. My Hekkus Sound System (http://www.shlzero.com/) SDL port compiles and seems to run nicely on the system.

I also plan on posting the source code, but want to fix the issues first. I will need to post my modifications  and recompiled libraries (with Harteex's approval), since my code depends on minimal C++ support.

Cool! What compiler did you use for the port?

I used Harteex's CC1800 modifications to the Dingoo SDK;

http://code.google.com/p/dingoo-sdk/

He has some unpublished changes that I got from him, and some modifications I made to get bare C++ support working.
