pocketsnes updated?

the repo of gcw-zero.com says the emu was published thursday 29 aug. it is a new version or just the release date?

I think it is an updated version because the old one I had installed said it was built on July 21st in the credits and the new one from the GCW repository says it was built on August 29th.

I haven't been able to get pocketsnes to play nice for me.

Snes9x4d seems to be much more solid than pocket. A good alternative -- I'd stretch to say the best current SNES emulation on the GCW, IMO.  8)

PocketSNES has much better audio tho, so for games that are less resource intensive its a great option.

How comes some rom's i have tried do not play in full screen even if the option is turned on, Find it annoying with black borders above and below, For example street fighter 2 turbo

Some games have those programmed in, like Chrono Trigger. That game has a black bar across the bottom that only disappears on the world map.

Yeah, another example is Star Fox, which only uses a portion of the standard 256x224 display area.

224x190 to be exact.
