MegaMan 9 & 10 ??
« on: November 18, 2015, 12:13:24 am »
I realize MegaMan 9 and 10 were released originally for Wii VC , PS3 , Xbox, etc..., however (and this may be a very dumb question) is it possible to port these to the GCW zero? Much of the graphics and music is very eight bit, but that isn't to say I know how the games were made and the programming involved. Any replies are greatly appreciated thank you so much!

The source code for these games is not available anywhere on the Internet, and the exclusive rights to that code belong to Capcom, licensed to Nintendo. Please petition Capcom for a GCW Zero port.

HAHAHAHAHAHA
Please Nebuleon, don't be ridiculous, i'm dying.

The only two ways i could see this game being to this handled are :
- Porting Dolphin to this thing (they have a software renderer), extremely difficult because it was not designed to be portable
- Re-make the game from scratch. (Not too difficult and reasonable to anyone who makes Megaman fan-games)

That was the goal ;)

Yep. Though even the second one could take some time even if there is an existing fan-made Megaman engine.

 I'm sorry for asking.

I could have sworn I already saw ROMs available for the games which is why I asked originally. Turns out that is not the case, and what I saw was someone re-created two levels from MegaMan 9 for an NES ROM that confused me.

 Thank you for your time
