HUGO works very well on the GCW via .pce file extension.

Haven't delved into the CD games as of yet. Has anyone?

oh maybe next time I'll read the post properly. Haven't seen an opk for temper anywhere, this version works just fine for me though

I'm trying to install Temper using the .dge file on my Zero but it isn't finding the file inside the internal memory. I go to add link in emulators and into the Temper folder, but it just doesn't show the .dge file for me to select. I've already tried to put the folder into both internal and external memory.

BTW, I'm using the latest firmware.

I believe you will need the .opk file instead of .dge for the Zero to recognize it.

commit fe1a586fb3f11eb13472f2fe77f5594efa07a8fe
Author: Paul Cercueil <[email protected]>
Date:   Sat May 17 13:56:16 2014 +0200

    Don't consider *.dge files as being executables

src/gmenu2x.cpp: 680
-    FileDialog fd(this, ts, tr["Select an application"], "dge,sh,bin,py,elf,");
+    FileDialog fd(this, ts, tr["Select an application"], "sh,bin,py,elf,");

src/gmenu2x.cpp: 888
-    FileDialog fd(this, ts, tr["Select an application"], "dge,sh,bin,py,elf,");
+    FileDialog fd(this, ts, tr["Select an application"], "sh,bin,py,elf,");
source

dge means Dingoo Executable, and is meaningless on the GCW Zero. Rename your .dge file to have either the .elf extension or none, and if it's on the internal storage, make sure you give it the executable permission (chmod +x temper.elf, or chmod +x temper).

Thanks for the info and for the .opk version. :)

Sorry for reviving the topic...

I'm using the temper 0.81 .opk, trying to run rondo of blood but, it just exit the emulator.

The cd files are an .cue and an .iso file, is it the right format to use in temper?

I read someplace that i need to put the bios file (syscard3.bin), but the folders to put the bios only appear when i run temper (in the /mnt folder).

Can someone point me to the right direction? What am i doing wrong?

Ps: the gcw arrived some days ago, and its awesome =D

Perhaps we should contact the original author to see if he can fix it.
Or someone over here could ask to take over the project and give it a go.

Good luck getting the source code. The dev is very strict about it. I was only able to get the source code in front of two people and both are no longer interested in it seems. Maybe Shin-Nil will port his dingoo version

... the "hope" is that Slaanesh makes an official port from his latest Dingoo version (Temper 0.81).

I just messaged alekmaul for links to the releases he gave me and all of his source code. He has his own tg16 emulator as well. It was pretty cool.
