No temper simply don't handle v-sync (yet, I hope^^), it's my major concern with it :(
Saddly there's not much love for the Pc engine.

As I feared. *sigh*

Well, maybe after a new firmware is released there will be new interest by emu devs with Zeros.

And PCE and CD are an amazing system. Some of the best games ever made. Every emulation system needs a great PCE emulator. :-)

Temper was one of the best emu's for GP2X and Wiz by exophase, did those versions have v-sync?

If you package a software without the appropriate optimizations, almost certainly it will be unable to save the configuration and the save-states...

I'm using the one package creator and do not know how to optimize it  ???
no tutorial and not seen those options in the OnePackageCreator

PS: I would see the Temper officially Opk

With "Open Package Creator" you can't optimize the software code, a partial recompilation is needed (using the software source code and the GCW Zero Toolchain)...

Can someone help me get CD games to work? I've been using PCE emus for many years, but so far I can't get a CD game to work with this emu. My regular PCE roms work fine.

For example, I have put Akumajou Dracula X in a folder with cue and bin/wav. Here is the cue:

FILE "01 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 01 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "02 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).iso" BINARY
  TRACK 02 MODE1/2048
    PREGAP 00:03:00
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "03 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 03 AUDIO
    PREGAP 00:02:00
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "04 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 04 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "05 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 05 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "06 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 06 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "07 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 07 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "08 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 08 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "09 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 09 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "10 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 10 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "11 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 11 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "12 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 12 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "13 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 13 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "14 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 14 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "15 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE

  TRACK 16 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "17 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 17 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "18 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 18 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "19 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 19 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "20 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 20 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "21 Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).wav" WAVE
  TRACK 21 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

  TRACK 22 MODE1/2048
    PREGAP 00:03:00
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

I navigate to the file in Temper, but when I press Y nothing happens. The game does not run. I have syscard3.pce in the Temper/syscards directory.

Why won't the game run? Thanks.

If I remember well the CD-ROM bios should be in .bin format... syscard.bin, syscard2.bin and syscard3.bin...

Someone was nice enough to post it to ISOZone.  Be sure to read the description, as it is a Dingoo release.  There's some key mapping issues, but it works great once you get it mapped correctly.  After unzipping, place the folder somewhere on your Zero.  Then, navigate to the "emulators" page and press SELECT.  Highlight "Add link in emulators," and find your Temper folder.  Just select the "temper.dge" file, and you should be good to go.  It even adds the correct icon automatically.  By-the-way, HuCards must be in an unzipped state to be recognized by the emulator.

I've loaded Temper onto the internal memory the way Timepilot2084 describes but I get a black screen for a few seconds and then get booted back to the GCW main menu. How can I fix that?

Sorry for the double post but I figured it out. I put it in my own folder I made and for some reason it didn't transfer the file right or something. Really odd.

Did you use Filezilla in binary mode (if you used FTP)?.

I didn't put it in the apps section. That's why it didn't work. I got it working now =)
