I don't know if any of the developers are porting Dosbox already, but I was just curious how you think it would perform on the GCW0?

I am not very demanding with this, don't care if it doesn't have the power to play 486/Pentium titles, I would even be happy with XT/286 and early 386SX. In Caanoo I was dissappointed that even games requiring very few cycles wouldn't play without the sound stuttering (even though I played a bit of Civilization with slow downs and I had fun), and I hope this changes in the GCW a bit. I think I had seen a video of Dosbox on Pandora playing a 486 title (Dark Forces), and since I believe the GCW is something between Caanoo and Pandora in performance, tending more towards the second, maybe 286 or even early 386SX would be ok. If I can at least play a little bit of Lotus 3 with proper speed and sound I would be very very happy :)

It should perform quite well, with Slaneesh's changes. The problem is, he never released the sources (while obligated).

Maybe Slaanesh is secretly working on a GCW0 port? :)
