Is there any way to bring up the menu while playing a game? Mostly for save states and things like that  ;)

It works like that until you load a game with bios-you can find them somewhere across the internet. They're named things like (for example) scph7502.bin or scph1001.bin  Once you have them, put them with your games in /usr/local/home/.psx4all. The bios allow your games to work correctly...most of the time  :D

I've been playing FF7 for a while now, and even though it's a little fast I think it's enjoyable. You don't have to have your games in .psx4all, but you need to put the bios files in the same folder that your games are in. I had my games on the SD to begin with too, so it's not a problem. Also, changing the bios in the psx4all options may make it work better-I hope I'm helping

Which version of psx4all are you using? Do you have a link to it? It would probably be good information to add to the video description.

Thanks for your help guys! I managed to play a little of FF7. Another quick question. How do you save/load states? What about the shortcuts and how to load another disk in a game (FF7 has 3)?

I found out that bringing up the menu is (select + x). From there, you can save and load states in the files options. There isn't music when you load a state though... ??? And maybe when it tells you switch discs, you can load disc 2 or 3 from the menu  ;)
