In the French website "Open Consoles" I found this new "OPK" porting...
Zelda Navi's Quest is the fourth and latest Zelda "homebrew game" created by Vincent Jouillat...
Riviera71 is the maker of the GCW Zero porting!

List of commands:
Start and validate in the selection screen: START
Exit and enter in the save menu (during the game): SELECT
Help menu: L + Y
Movements: d-pad
Read / Open / Talk: R
Validate / Skip text: B
Sword: X
Tornado Attack: hold X and after release
Lift / Put / Throw: Y
View map (during the game): START
Show items: R + A
Move Navi: hold L and use d-pad
Care Navi: L + X

Looks like it runs really smooth compared to Mystery of Solarus.

Did you try Solarus with the latest firmware ?
It now supports SDL2 and Lua Jit and should be way smoother.
