don't get why you are asking for an Android release here.. but anyhoo, I've had some weird save game issues, it keeps reverting to my first save, and forgetting other saves I do, Moonstone is the kind of game that's important to be able to save, as it's kinda hard and well, buggy :-D

Many thanks for the emulator! Finally, some good Amiga, everything works fairly smoothly.

One thing I noticed, in many demos/games, the music seems slower than what I remember. I know it might be an issue of Pal/Ntsc differences. I am wondering if these demos/games came in separate versions, or it's the same programm that just autodetects if 50 or 60fps. Could it be I have to use another kick rom? Most demos are european, so I guess they are PAL versions, so maybe I should check if the kick roms are US or UK.

Also, in many demos, whenever they display flat polygons, only the outline is visible. And the line rendering has such pattern, that really reminds me of a technique to fill polygons from C64, xor filling. My guess now is that on the Amiga, most of the demos use the blitter with XOR operation for the same technique. I don't know much about Amiga or the blitter, but I assume that the mistake could be there.

But most of the games are great. I ran Brian the Lion yesterday, with it's blitter rotozoomer effects and they run surprisingly great.

Did anyone succeed to run Lotus 2/3? I get a guru meditation error. It could still be a kickstart version issue though.

I've been inactive for a few weeks now i just discovered that this awesome piece of software was released!!!

I tried it and i must say that I'm very impressed by the performance of this emulator  ;D

A few hiccups here a nd there but ~85 percent of all games i tried (which were a lot) are fairly playable. Keep up this excellent work, and a big thank you. This is the emulator I've been waiting for.

Any chance of mapping the Space key to one of the spare unused face buttons?

Would be very useful, eg: for Turrican.

I am very happy that the UP joystick direction is already mapped to a face button as that means all the platformers are playable!

You'd never guess I like Turrican, would you? ;)

There aren't any unused face buttons:
Quote
Controls (during emulation):
D-PAD/analog joystick - control amiga joystick (if mouse emulation turned off) / amiga mouse (if mouse emulation turned on)
A - joystick button #1
B - joystick button #2
Y - mouse button #1
X - mouse button #2
L - enable/disable mouse emulation
R - enable/disable on-screen-keyboard
START - super throttle
SELECT - emulator menu

Maybe X/Y could be mapped to something else when mouse emulation is disabled?

Got Lotus 2 running without a problem. Had to try a few different versions of the adf though. Some would just show a messed up screen and then crash.

I've just tested it and I'm impressed about the performance. The only problem is that you have to set it to framekskip 0 if you want perfect smooth scrolls. However that implies that the games run a little bit too fast (which isn't a problem for me) and also that the sound, and especially the music, is corrupted. If you set it to frameskip auto, the sound is correct, but the scrolls are not perfect. I suppose this has to do with a frequency mismatch between the games (50hz) and the GCW's screen (60hz).

Is there any way to remove the black bar on the bottom with the leds? I don't understand why it's there because I notice part of the screen of the games is lost because of it.

For some reason no matter what kickstart image I use( I have the Cloanto ones from amiga forever) I just get a black screen or back to the gcw menu.....Any ideas what might cause this?? I have the rom renamed to kick.rom, i have also just tried to start the amiga without a disk image and same thing =(

I have tried 1.2,1.3 and 2.

The cloanto roms are crypted, I assume these will not work with this uae version, but you could try to copy the key file in the rom directory.

Thanks for this port, many classics like, Alien Breed, Chaos Engine and Moonstone seem to run
flawlessly. A few additions would be nice however:

1. Ability to choose the kickstart rom version. (already mentioned)

2. It would be useful if the user had the option to manually map some of the Amiga keyboard keys
to the GCW face buttons and save them as a config per game, overwritting the default ones.
Otherwise some games that use the keyboard for controlling, even very few buttons
such as Pinball Fantasies, are currently unplayable.

3. Ability to set the maximum framerate to 50fps without having to use frameskip:auto.

4. Option to remove the black bar at the bottom. (already mentioned)

Hello, everybody.
I try to play in "Flashback" (4 disk version in *.adf)
Videos plays normally, but the main screen (start game, password etc) is quaking left from right!
In game I can see a quaking too, but not so often.
I try to change any options - nothing changes.
What I do wrong? Can anybody test this game?

I have looked into the requested kickstart selection functionality.

Turns out emulation core restart is necessary for a new kickstart to load, and the easiest solution would be to quit the program after selecting a new kickstart image and have the user manually launch the emulator again. If that's acceptable, I'll look into implementing this feature.

For space constraints, I'll need to place it in the "Load disk image" sub-menu, like this:

Thanks for continuing to add features to this
emulator, the kickstart selection looks good.

Some other features i really would like to see,
if they are programmable:

1. Give the option to remap the
GCW buttons to any Amiga
keyboard keys. That would be
really useful for some games.

2. The black bar at the bottom is not
that useful, so it would nice if we had the option
to remove it.

That won't happen. It's a ridiculous amount of effort given this frontend's crappy code.

2. The black bar at the bottom is not
that useful, so it would nice if we had the option
to remove it.
That's a side effect of adding double buffering (v-sync) to the emulator. We've looked into it before the release, but I can look at it again. Worst case I can make it optional through the menu.

Hi, I'm stuck in a game when they ask me to insert disk 2. When I try to mount disk 2 on DF0 nothing happens and when I do so and reboot it shows a floppy disk and nothing happens. Could you help me with this? Great work btw, love the emulator :)

Don't mind my previous post. I tried again this evening and after 5 times it somehow worked :) No idea what the problem was but now i'm able to save on disk 2 so I won't have to go through this one more time. Thanks again for a great emulator, I'm finally able to finish a game (Time Traveller) in which I was stuck some 20 years ago, and that haunted me since then.

If possible, could you consider adding an option to disable the status bar at the bottom? It tends to obstruct my view in some games. Thanks.

Hi, would be possible to support more floppy disks "loaded" to avoid going back to the menu on those games that has 6 disks for example ?

Also, any chance to support CD's ?

Thanksss
