First try it does not work.
after 1 reboot all is ok  ;)
It should not behave this way. Let me attempt to reproduce this behaviour.

Edit:
Unable to reproduce it. All works as expected on my side. On first run the ~/.uae4all directory is created and the emulator asks for a missing kick.rom.

If you had the dir created before you need to reboot

No. UAE4ALL will create the folder if it doesn't exist and continue running without the need of a restart/reboot:

I'm a little slow to see this thread, but good work Zear, much appreciated. I was always an ST guy, so this will give me a chance to see what all the fuss was about. And to play Stunt Car Racer TNT, finally.

Thank you.

And you will learn that the Amiga ist still the better machine ;)

Zear, I am not sure what qualifies for a pub?lic release, so I think my wording was imprecise, I was referring to the port by Ker. I also used the Dingoo build, but the version by Ker was far better. The OPK can be found here:

http://boards.dingoonity.org/gcw-development/uae4all-status/msg104991/#msg104991

However, reboot fixed the issue also for me. Emulator is working fine, Speedball is at excellent speed. Can someone try Supercars II? I tried two different .adf sets, both with Guru meditation... I have not tried another kickrom yet...

if you had ker?s version of the emulator:

you need to reboot to make this one work

I tried with all main Amiga OCS/ECS kickstarts (1.2, 1.3 and 2.0) and in every case the game crashes after the main title with a "Guru meditation" message...

Thanks a lot. Same here, so it is not the .adf or the Kickrom. I remember that SuperCars II was picky on my real Amiga as well...

Probably is an "emulator core" issue... e.g. Lion Heart has the backgrounds corrupted during the gameplay (independently of the kick rom or the game version).

PS: in any case, sometimes changing the kickstart version or the game release it can solve the problem... e.g. After the War and Blood Money work only with kickstarts 1.2 and 1.3; Apidya (Kaiko - Play Byte) version works, while Apidya (A.U.D.I.O.S. - Play Byte) version doesn't work.

You could always try the Atari ST version in DCastAway which works (although as an Amiga fanboy it doesn't seem as good as the Amiga version!)

Could anyone tell me if they can get a game working - Salmon-Pink Max (aka Biplane Duel 2).

It's a public domain game.

Here's a screenshot:

Here's a link to the game: https://app.box.com/s/wlqwg8c592lvigdmxjvu

The game loads up and plays but you can't shoot the other plane and vice versa - the bullets just pass through.  You can hit the other plane with your plane and you can crash into the ground but bullets don't work they way they should.

A friend tested the game on his Android phone and got the same problem but when he tested it on his PC with winAUE with the quick a500 settings with Kickstart 1.3 it worked although he bumped up the floppy speed to 800%.

He said the quickstart setting was ocs chip set, 512k chip 512k slow mem, cpu 68000 if that helps.

It's a gem of a game and I'd be pretty awesome to play it again.

I tried it and have the same issue. I tried Kickstart 1.2 and 1.3, neither worked.

I had a couple of minor issue with other games as well. Should we do a compatibility list in a new thread? It could help nowing which kickstrat to use etc, but the Release thread maybe not the place for it...

As I wrote some time ago, a start-up menu, where the user can choice a different kickstart, it would be very useful... (essentially the kickstarts needed are three: 1.2 - 1.3 - 2.0).

I hope that Zear and/or Nebuleon will find a bit of time to implement this function! ;)

the Amiga emulator passes the "Moonstone" test.. plays perfectly from what I can tell..

this game is the reason (oh ok and PS1 games) that I would still pick up my Pandora console even though it's more comfortable to play on the GCW Zero..
