Syobon Action rc2
« on: September 02, 2013, 02:57:10 pm »
Hi,

Here is a port of Syobon Action (aka Cat Mario).

I'm not happy with screen scaling, I'll see if I can do it better.

This is a video of the game for all that dont know it.

Get rid of copyrighted sounds and you have a legal game.

Of course! The compressed file contains the opk package and the sourcecode! ;)

If the porter is still interested in releasing this properly for the GCW Zero, there's a new feature in the 2014-08-20 firmware that allows you to request a larger video mode in an SDL application (for example, the native resolution of the original game, I believe 480x360?) and have our hardware resize it for you.

Because the native resolution of this game is larger than the LCD screen, the following declaration is needed in the .desktop file:
Code: [Select]
X-OD-NeedsDownscaling=true
After adding this declaration, resolutions larger than the LCD screen are allowed.
