Solarus v1.4.4
« on: September 20, 2015, 10:51:22 pm »

Today I did a quick vanilla port of Solarus v1.4.4 at the request of Fosamax.

The previous port by Shin-nil is now two years old and suffers from a number of bugs, notably music stuttering when changing areas. The new version still occasionally stutters but has smoother sound, many bug fixes and engine enhancements.

There are now more games using this engine so I have converted them to a compatible format below. The only one which isn't currently working (Tunics!) has not yet been updated to work with newer builds of Solarus.

You will need to run the opk and select the relevant file which must be called "data.solarus.zip".

Zelda: DX
Zelda: XD
Zelda: ROTH
Zelda: BOM

There is still an intermittent random text corruption bug which I'm looking into, hopefully I'll figure it out soon.

Thanks for the work David.

Solarus has great potential and I hope some non zelda-like will come for it.

Yartown needs Solarus 1.6 to run so you will need a recompile to make it run on GCW zero / RG350.

Oh well, If someone could recompile it  :-[ would be great ( I don't have any clue on how to do it myself  :'( )
