Hey everyone!
I made this little shooter game in pygame!
Featuring:
- Eight Unique Powerups!
- You can only choose one of two from each level, so mix and match well!
- You only have one life!
Here's a screenshot:

Play it now! (https://www.dropbox.com/s/423q3p5jfcz2l4c/shooter.opk?dl=1) (.opk, 104.0 KB)

I just tried it, this is awesome! :)
-
Thanks! :)
I just updated the game to use joystick controls instead of keyboard controls, so now you can use the analog stick, and the B, X, and Y buttons! I also added pausing.

just got a chance to give this a play. really cool game, and i like the minimalist block graphics=)
Bit.Trip.Recca... hehe.
-
If it is not too terrible can you please give enemies different colors than player? I hope that is not too much for one to do. :C
Also, I would love for this game to be on SuperLongName.com and maybe even get a PC port...

Simple, short, and fantastic. Love it. By the end the screen was just an ammo fractal.
-
This game is really good!
Using a different color for each enemy would be nice.
-
Fun! Thanks for the game ;D

I want moooooar! :P

Awesome game!
Just two things can improve this. (in MY opinion)
Multi-colored enemies, and "Lost" "Play again?" if the player dies.
Anyway, thanks for releasing this game. Its awesome!
I love that it uses the joystick. :)

@slapstick
Have you considered releasing the game source code onto github.com?

No problem - added another link as Host-A-Net seems down.
Looking forward to providing an alternate download link to the sequel ;)
