It was a way to distribute applications between us devs and a small number of testers back when we had no official repository.
No it was not. It was some place to upload OPKs before we had a repository. It's your problem if your OPKs are not finished.
[Emphasis mine, 1 nesting level removed.] Is it just me, or did you guys just both say the same thing? ;D

Either way, I would support deleting the entire Google Drive if it would only be harmful to keep it around.

He's saying that it was a repo for devs and testers. I'm saying it was not.

Hm, a repository is in fact just a source of packages. With this definitions the google drive thing is a repository.

However when I think about repositories I think about linux-like packet managers like apt-get. With this definition neither google drive nor the official repository is in fact a repository without a program like OPKManager (which is the reason, why I wrote it). It is more like an archive, "just" a site full of downloads. ;)

However all in all it depends on the point of view. :D

I made another repository. This time I tried to make a special repository just for one program: FFPlay.

For this I preset almost every value except the version. For the version I grep the thread linked above, search the "Last Edit: "-line under the first post and convert this to a time.

I am quite sure the script will not work tomorrow anymore, because the date followed by "Last Edit: " is not everytime just a date. For older dates it is but for recent edits "Today" is shown, which I handle right now.
I assume tomorrow "Yesterday" will be the date and then my script will fail. But I will see. And if the script works for some days, I can make mini-repositories for other release-threads, too. Or you as local script or hosted on your own server ;)

As always add it yourself:
