Thanks a lot! :) This game add to the classic Sonic style a strategic variation (like The Lost Vikings) ! ;)

As said in #gcw, this won't start for me as it is right now. What it does is hang indefinitely on "Launching OpenSonic", but OpenSonic writes a log containing the following, before hanging on the last step it writes:
Code: [Select]
Open Sonic version 0.1.4
logfile_init()
preferences_init()
ERROR: couldn't open preferences file for reading. file="/usr/local/home/.opensonic/preferences.dat"
game arguments:
argv[0]: './opensonic'
timer_init()
Installing Allegro timers...
video_init()
Initializing JPGalleg...
Initializing loadpng...
video_changemode(0,0,-1)
creating the backbuffer...
creating the window surface...
creating the auxiliary window surface...
setting up the window...

I am using the latest firmware as of this writing (2013-10-04). "Terminal=true" is needed in default.gcw0.desktop for it to run on that firmware.

I have a temporary repack link on my Dropbox, but it would be better on sendspace.

Nebuleon,

I already repacked opk and reuploaded according to your recommendations. Tested on my production unit, it runs ok.

Oh. I didn't see the edit in the OP. Shows how much I pay attention sometimes ;)

This looks awesome! Downloading now. Is Tails also playable by himself?

Sometimes it appears you get a checkbox on sendspace that says: "Download with sendspace accelerator and get recommended offers". This checkbox must be unchecked.
Look here: http://www.harteex.com/temp/sendspace.png

This is in no way serious, and I would strongly recommend switching to another host instead of sendspace.
In fact, we may decide to block sendspace links in the future. So it's a good idea to change now.

I'm not sure if this version is the same as what d_smagin had on sendspace, but here is my original repack to fix the problems I talked about earlier in this thread:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/106475413/usr/dmitrysmagin/opensonic-repack.opk

If d_smagin reads this thread again, he may mirror the actual version he has. But in the meantime, download and mirror this if you want.

Thank you!

Hhmmm. I tried to launch this, but the screen turned white and I waited for a bit, and nothing happened. So, I tried to force quit (power up + select) and that didn't work either! I was a bit freaked out, but then I got a bit of wire and pressed in the RESET button for about a minute, and then it rebooted and everything seems okay again.
