Several years ago a GCW Zero user posted on the BZFlag forums requesting a port of the game to this device. I'm pleased to announce that after about a year of effort (totaling about a 41k-line patch to the original code), I have ported BZFlag to the GCW Zero.

This is a multiplayer game, so you'll have to be connected to wifi to be able to do much. There is a help menu within the program that can help you get started, or see this video for some ideas. By default, you get a list of servers specifically for GCW Zero users. You can toggle the "Protocol" setting to "Desktop" in the "Join Game" menu to get a list of desktop games where there are more players (some of those maps can really slow down the GCW Zero, so be careful).

Zear pointed out a few issues with the initial release, which were corrected and then a new release was issued. The link is below, and I updated the one in the original post, and you can also download it from the repository at http://www.gcw-zero.com/downloads

Very fun game but I've never met anyone on the GCW server and the destop one's are awfuly slow....
