/usr/local/home/ is also not guaranteed to exist - you should instead retreive the content of $HOME variable and use that directory.

I have updated the opk with this change. I'm still puzzled though, $HOME is /usr/local/home so why does it matter?

$HOME is /usr/local/home today, but that might not be the case in the future. For example, we could allow multiple user profiles per Zero, so you can share the device with other people without getting your settings and high scores polluted. In that case, every user profile would have its own separate home directory and $HOME would point to the home directory of the active user.

Another reason to use $HOME is that it will work on any Unix-like system, so it makes your code more portable.

With R button you can save the state and with L button you can load the state saved... it's written in the embedded manual (press "select" on the game icon and choose to show the manual from the window menu)... ;)

I plan to enable multiple saves and "are you sure you want to save/load/quit" dialogue, stay tuned for more tweaks ;)

Great... these new features will be "the icing on the cake" of your porting! ;)

Yes but I'm away now until Wednesday so you'll have to be a little more patient ;)

I got back early :)

Different savestates are now enabled, I'm still not happy with the implementation as there is no on-screen indicator when you change savestates but it seems to work fine.

I've changed the keymapping slightly. Now L and R pads control savestate number, Slider controls save/load. Hopefully it means you are less likely to save/load by accident. Let me know if you prefer this configuration.

Thanks a lot for the update! :)
The multi saveslots seem to work properly... but without any screen indicator/interface there is a big risk to overwrite a wrong state!
A "perfect" solution (IMHO) should be to have a specific save-load menu (e.g. L+R to access it) and the power slider up/down for a quick load/save state...

I can't figure out how to save for the life of me, the instructions say "slider up" to save... the power button slider?  If so, nothing happens.
