When the GCW keeps rebooting every few seconds.

When turning o the GCW, it will continuously reboot every 10 seconds. I am unable to power off the system, and have to wait until the battery's to die. Recharging or pressing the small reset button do not solve the problem. Anyone have any idea's of what to try next?

Press the reset button for 60 seconds. Perhaps that will make a difference.

Alternatively, it could be software issues (file system corruption for example) or hardware related (a wire being partially disconnected).

It's a kernel panic. Use the rescue CD and reflash the system partition.

Hey guys, me again. Ive tried using the Rescue Disc v0.3 on usb with no success. Tried ever option available on the menu: re-flash the prototype and kickstarter gcw, multiple times (even twice in a row, as someone suggested on the board). Each time it states that the re-flashing was successful.

"With no success", and then what happens? It boots and resets every 10 seconds again?

Yea the same 10 second automatic restart happens every time I power the system on.

If you press A when it powers on, it should give you the boot log.
Could you take a photo/video of the boot log, so that I can see what's going on?

I plugged it in and powered it on, but now the screen stays black (with the green power light remaining on). I tried connecting it through filezilla, checking to see if for some reason I might be able to communicate with the device that way, but it still says unable to find any thing to connect to.

I'm going to try to purchase another one online if they're still available.
