I'm assuming you're referring to Wifi. Until it gets static IP setting, I think an alternative solution is to configure your router's DHCP server to assign a static IP for your GCW0's wifi MAC address. You can get it by ssh'ing or telnetting in, connected via USB or wifi dynamic IP, and running 'ifconfig' and looking at the entry for the 'wlp3s0' interface. You're looking for the hex bytes after 'HWaddr'.
Hopefully, your router supports this.
