« on: August 29, 2013, 09:52:10 am »
Hey guys, I've been messing about with the psx4all.opk for awhile now trying to play some games but with no luck, any suggestions?

psx4all - https://docs.google.com/folderview?id=0B9EgGumkJaabSE9TaEdFbVVBSlU

got the bios's (if there even needed) from here - http://www.roms4droid.com/psxbios.php

Thanks

Is the bios in a right place? There's a discussion here.
On my ZeroSE PSX4ALL is still crashing on trying to open directories. Can't go any further.

Psx4all is a piece of shit and it doesn't run most of games. To increase your chance of it running a game, you need to experiment with bios images for different regions, but the changes of it running your game are still slim.

As a workaround, you could place the roms to $HOME/.psx4all to eliminate the need to browse the filesystem.

That really helped! I got Castlevania working pretty well. The text isn't great but, the audio is decent and it seems to be running full speed. I have to transfer my Final Fantasy 8 save so I can start that. I still can't get Alundra to start but, a little is better than nothing. Thanks lemmy!
