NO sound from GCW-Zero
« on: September 01, 2017, 01:42:16 pm »
When I use my GCW-Zero I sometimes mute the sound using the power slider+up/down on the d-pad.
So a couple days I muted it all the way down using the slider control.

Went to switch it back up but i'm not getting ANY sound at all now.

Check Sound mixer and it looks all okay.
No sound from my headphones either.

No error is dmesg that I can see. See below.

Any ideas?

Nice to hear from you Slaanesh

Bah, forget it I found the problem... Was a duff build.

Glad the problems sorted.

Don't want to bother you but it's been a while since your last update. Can you provide us with any more details of where you are with mame updates?

Well I've done a bucket load of work on MAME4ALL - finishing off updates to Irem drivers at the moment. I thought I lost sound on my GCW0 for some reason but was not the case.
I've been using for most of my latest Dev as it's just so easy to use.
On the side been trying to get MAME4ALL going on the Zaurus using Arch Linux ARM.

I'd be interested to know what machines people are most interested in?

GCW Zero, Dingoo A320, GP2X and Wiz

Hopefully with the new GCW Zero orders from Fanatic imminent and from dreamsper soon, a lot of new owners will be able to enjoy your awesome new mame on the device.

Are you still developing mame for Gemei A330?
