Shipping Dates for SE Consoles - Updated

Okay, this is getting silly.

I don't care if it's next week or next month, I just want to know when I should expect to get my SE.

It's pathetic that this information isn't readily available. I'm tired of trying to decipher ship dates from a 200 page thread with rumor and conjecture and different dates for the first 40 units vs. the remaining 110.

All I want to know is...
When are the consoles expected to ship?

Ah.... I must have confused you with my use of complete sentences.

Thanks for pointing out that the devices won't ship before they've been completed. I'm not sure why anyone would find that info to be relevant at this point, but thanks.

I'm more interested in the estimated date that "when it's done" might happen.

Don't get angry. as far as i know, units are almost done. I suppose that the first units will begin to ship in a couple of days, maybe one or two weeks at most.

Keep in mind that this is the first batch of units. The first batch is the one which takes most time, as there are always unexpected problems and changes. After this first batch, everything will go faster.

To some extent, I agree with the OP. There is no dedicated location to go to see the latest update or estimated ship date.  Perhaps an admin could create a stickied topic that has this information and keep updating that post with what's happing now and when might they might ship periodically so we at least have a set place to check progress. Don't forget the "Last Updated" date so we can tell how relevant the information is and also don't let the info get too stale. Please and Thanks! :)

Alternatively, the gcw site is wordpress, just start a blog for the updates, then maybe post a 'updated the blog, go check it' post in the forum or something.

That'd put an end to all of the 'when does it realllly ship' posts in here, and the answer can always just be 'check the site'.

It would be nice to have more of a clue. Alot of people have a lot of money tied into this, so it would be nice to know, even if the estimated date isn't met.

wait until all bugs are removed, and the unit works as expected! I'm sure you'll get your GCW soon.
I don't know in which chinese company they develop itt, but i know that chinese don't have quality control.
You have to test the units by yourself, and if there are any bugs, you have to send them back, and if you have good luck the chinese will repair it, otherwise we all lose our money  ;D

I'm totally fine with waiting, but I think OP was thinking that it would be nice to know how long we have to wait. People who have paid good money for this should be a little more informed on about when these are expected to ship. There would probably be less cancelled orders if we knew what's up.

Well look at this way look how long we had to wait for the earth to evolve and us as human evolution took place that's what's happening to the GCW zero only abit quicker than we did to rool the world only the GCW will rool the world in just under one year as it took us millions of years so yea I can wait another week.

I can sympathize with the original poster, but he must realize that this is the start up of a new console, and not by some large corporation.  There are delays.  I can see the GCW people being hesitant about setting a new date (there can be so many little problems to fix first).

What I suggest anyone overly anxious or hesitant do is set a date in their mind of how long they are willing to wait.  After that date, ask for a refund.  Myself, I am willing to wait.  The only thing that would cause me to cancel would be an unexpected price increase (THERE'S BEEN NO HINT OF THAT, THIS IS JUST MY EXAMPLE).

I think it's worth the wait myself.

I just don't get why Justin can't take five minutes to let us know what's going on. That's all.
