Hello Zear,As someone who bought into the GCW Zero, I am wondering if you knew what happened to it considering you are a major contributor to the project. I was also wondering what happened to the Unnamed Monkey Game, is it still in development? Do you have further plans for it such as releasing it on itch.io or Steam (or GOG.com further along down the line)?Did they die off or is something else planned?I like your work,Hal Motley
Hello,First of all, let me apologize for a late reply.> As someone who bought into the GCW Zero, I am wondering if you knew what happened to it considering you are a major contributor to the project. As you might know, the GCW Zero project is maintained by a group of hobbyists in their free time.I can only speak of myself, but the free time was rather limited for me in the recent times. Despite this, I made a number of new developments for GCW Zero and I'm looking forward to releasing at least one new project soon.As for the kernel contributions - they are usually less visible to an end user, because a new firmware can't be released until everything is in a finished and stable state. Nevertheless, I can attest that the scene is still active in this field (and you can see that yourself on the public git repository of the project).> I was also wondering what happened to the Unnamed Monkey Game, is it still in development?Yes, UMG is in continuous development. Game development involves a lot of work, including programming, creating game assets, gameplay testing, etc., especially when it's done exclusively in our free time.We intend to provide the best quality product we can and as thus it's taking a while... but we certainly still intend to release Unnamed Monkey Game.> Do you have further plans for it such as releasing it on itch.io or Steam (or GOG.com further along down the line)? It's too early for us to elaborate on the methods of distribution of the final product.> I like your workThanks! I always appreciate that.Cheers,Artur "zear" RojekPS. I'm always available on IRC (http://www.gcw-zero.com/irc) if you'd like to talk more. I don't check my e-mail all that often.
Well done Inferno986Return for getting an update for the community. I for one will defo be buying UMG when it comes out
